The five strands of reading are essential skills for students to develop in order to become successful, critical and efficient readers. The five strands are:

As students learn to read they must develop skills in all five of these areas in order to become successful readers.
This growing bundle has a range of little to no prep lessons and activities in a Google Slide (can be converted to PowerPoint if needed).
Activities will be a range of hands-on, digital, matching, singing, moving and getting active while learning, board games, sorting games that will have students engaged and excited to learn the crucial strand of Phonological Awareness.
As this is a growing bundle, I will continue to add to this product so make sure you keep an eye out for updates. You will always be notified if an update has occurred.
At the moment, only 19 slides are available. There is a blank slide that has been provided so that you can add your own activities.
