Frequently Asked Questions
Are you creating English Component A teaching slides or resources?
No sorry, I will not be creating any resources for Component A.
How do I access the download links I have just purchased?
You will receive an email almost immediately after finalising your purchases. You will also receive a second email with your tax invoice. If you have not received either of these emails, please check your spam/other/junk folders as often they end up in there.
Please make sure that the email you entered at the time of checkout is correct as your download links are sent to the exact email you have allocated to the order.
Why does it say that my download is forbidden?
We are sorry for any inconvenience you may be experiencing with your download process. In response to an increase in reports regarding breaches of our terms of use, including unauthorised sharing of our products without proper licensing, we have initiated more stringent monitoring of downloads. As a result, download restrictions have been implemented to ensure the integrity of our products and prevent unauthorised distribution.
We understand that your account has reached its download limit, leading to restricted access. Upon purchasing our products, we have provided download access for your personal computer, teaching computer, and a designated staffroom/staff study computer where you may require access to our resources.
Once downloaded, our products should be readily accessible on your device, eliminating the need for further downloads:
- Maths downloads are downloaded directly to your computer in your download folder.
- Maths Assessment Google Sheet Tracker is sent straight to your Google drive and is saved there automatically.
- English downloads are sent straight to your Google drive and are saved there automatically.
To retrieve the files saved to your Google drive, go into your Google drive and use the search bar to search the title of the product. The product may appear as ‘Copy…’ as all files either uploaded or opened using any Google application will always save and be recovered from your Google drive. Alternatively you can use the left-hand menu option to select ‘recent’. By selecting this folder you will be able to see anything that was recently opened or added to your Google drive.
If you purchased additional licensing, then those same conditions are applied to each license.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in upholding our terms of use.
Are you creating any Multi Age Differentiated Maths Assessments?
No, I will not be creating differentiated Maths assessments specifically designed for the Multi Age units. This is because the Multi Age units are a direct copy and paste from the stage-based units.
Meaning Multi Age k-2 Year A units are made up of the lessons from both Early Stage 1 and Stage 1 Year A units. Multi Age K-2 Year B units are made up of the lessons from both Early stage 1 and Stage 1 Year B.
Multi Age 3-6 Year A Units are a direct copy and paste from both Stage 2 Year A and Stage 3 Year A lessons.
Multi Age 3-6 Year B Units are a direct copy and paste from both Stage 2 Year B And Stage 3 Year B lessons.
Therefore, the stage based assessments can already be used to assess the outcomes and content addressed throughout the Multi Age units because the lessons are directly from those units anyway. They have been copied, pasted and merged together - they are not different lessons.
The stage-based assessments are also completely editable so that you can edit the title of the unit and they both provide differentiation to assess below, at and above stage outcomes.
Will you be creating resources for the NSW 3-6 Sample Units?
Yes. I will be creating resources for:
- Maths teaching slides in both Smart Notebook and PowerPoint format
- Maths differentiated assessments and overviews created in Microsoft Word and Google Sheets
- English Component B teaching slides created in Google Slides
I will be creating these resources for Term 1 - 4.
What format do you create your teaching slides in?
Maths teaching slides are created in both Smart Notebook and PowerPoint. They are Google Slide compatible.
English Teaching slides are created in Google Slides and are PowerPoint compatible.
Is it possible to get a version of the Maths teaching slides that have more editing capabilities?
Unfortunately the Maths slides are predominantly locked and cannot be edited for a few reasons:
They are designed to be interactive. Meaning students and teachers can move the manipulatives on the slide. But to do this, the background must be locked so that everything on the slide doesn’t move.
Formatting: not everyone has the same fonts etc that I do, so to save the slides becoming warped and out of place I lock it so that it’s set.
Copyright: a lot of the cliparts and fonts that I use have very strict copyright conditions that I must adhere to - one being that they must be locked in the slides.
Why can't I open the notebook file in my Maths download?
The notebook files require the smart notebook program to be installed on your computer. Unless you have it installed, they will not open.
It is just another format that I offer teachers for those who still have access to this software.
The DoE used to provide this software free to all NSW schools but this was discontinued during the pandemic period. Some schools still continue to use the software but pay a subscription to use it out of their own school budget. This is why I still continue to provide this format.
They are the exact same slides as the PowerPoint slide - nothing is different except the format it can be used in.
Why can’t I open or edit the Maths files in my download?
The Maths products contain multiple files and formats. For this reason, it is a zipped compressed folder.
You can not do anything to any of the files until they are extracted.
If the folder still has a zipper over it then it hasn’t been extracted properly.
You need to right click on the folder and select extract.
Some folders may need to be extracted more than once.
If the folder no longer contains a zipper over the top then you know the folder has been unzipped correctly.
Why is there a price difference between your TpT store and website?
Teachers Pay Teachers is an American based platform, so you are actually purchasing in $USD. I have tried to get the two different prices to match as closely as possible. Sometimes one platform will be cheaper than the other, it just depends on what the Aussie dollar is on the day.
Do you offer refunds on your products?
As per the terms of use, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances. This is because all of the products sold on this website are digital products and cannot be returned.
