Unit Description:

This unit teaches students to build a strong sense of identity by exploring personal strengths, culture, place and family connections. They learn about safety symbols, practise fire safety behaviours and understand how to seek help in unsafe situations. In PE, students develop jumping and hopping skills and apply them in games that promote fair play, rule-following and the safe use of equipment. Students strengthen resilience, teamwork and interpersonal skills by practising persistence, empathy, problem-solving and responding to feedback.
