About Us

I’ve been a primary educator in NSW for over a decade, teaching in a wide range of contexts - from remote outback Aboriginal communities to the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Sydney. 

I became a teacher to support those students who “fly under the radar” and risk falling through the cracks.

Which is why and how The Busy Honey Bee was born.

The Busy Honey Bee provides engaging, curriculum-aligned resources for Australian primary classrooms.

We create materials that directly support NSW sample units, with flexibility for other curriculums.

Our resources include full teaching programs, interactive slides, daily reviews, printables, workbooks/worksheets with answer keys, and differentiated assessments across a range of subjects. All content is designed using explicit teaching, making it clear and easy to implement.

We also include engaging elements such as interactive and animated PowerPoints, featuring carefully selected games, songs, and videos to support student understanding.

My resources are carefully designed to be high quality, classroom ready, and genuinely student friendly. Each one is thoughtfully created to support the delivery of the curriculum in a practical and meaningful way, with a clear focus on what teachers and students actually need in the classroom.

Teachers should not have to spend valuable time reinventing the wheel or investing in materials that offer little added value. Effective resources need to go beyond simply presenting content. This is not “death by PowerPoint”.
